Faces of Freedom I'm proud to have written a story for this book, which profiles fallen members of the military who lost their lives in Iraq or Afghanistan. To be released in May 2007, the book includes one service member from each of the 50 states, and all branches of the military are represented. Faces of Freedom has received pre-publication praise from U.S. Senators John McCain (R-Arizona), Chuck Hagel (R-Nebraska), and Max Cleland (D-Georgia), and proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and Fisher House, two organizations that aid wounded veterans and their families. Melanie
has produced several patient publications for Health
Information Project, as well as website copy, articles, newsletters, and
ebooks for physicians, describing medical procedures for a lay
audience. Most recently, she served as book doctor for "Revitalize Your
Mouth," a hardcover book about cosmetic dentistry
for a dentist in Beverly Hills, and Melanie is the primary writer for Golden Age
Publications, which creates customized books for medical professionals
and others. Melanie has also ghostwritten and edited trade journal
