Melanie has ghostwritten several books and can assist in the preparation of book proposals as well. One of her ghostwritten books is a business title which was published by a major publishing house. She has also edited The Fine Art of the Big Talk (published by Hyperion, the publisher owned by Disney) and How YOU™ Are Like Shampoo, two business titles released in January 2008. How YOU™ Are Like Shampoo quickly became an English-language bestseller in Thailand, where it was initially launched, was nominated for awards sponsored by USA Today, and Macmillan has purchased the publishing rights to release the book in seven additional countries. Melanie also book doctored/edited the sequel, How YOU™ Are Like Shampoo for Job Seekers, which was purchased by Macmillan for release in Asia as well. Melanie is experienced in line editing and substantive/developmental editing of fiction, non-fiction, and business text, as well as doctoring books for maximum marketability and the best possible structure. Melanie has published articles in national and international magazines and newspapers such as Woman's Day, South China Morning Post, Travel Savvy, His & Hers, American Moms, and Medical Economics, as well as regional and online publications like Fit Focus (Houston), Ft. Myers Magazine, Tweens News (New York), Natural Awakenings (Florida), Copper in the Arts Magazine, Luxury Web Magazine, The Cute Kid, and Super Yacht Times. MEDICAL WRITING

Melanie recently served as book doctor for the book, Revitalize Your Mouth, for Beverly Hills cosmetic dentist David Frey. D.D.S. and Golden Age Publications. She has produced several patient publications for Health Information Project, as well as brochures, newsletters, and website copy for Health Information Network, plastic surgeons, ophthalmologists, physical therapists, psychotherapists, and alternative practitioners. Melanie is also a member of the American Medical Writers Association.

SPEAKING AND MEDIA APPEARANCES

Melanie has appeared on the Sony Worldwide Radio Network, the New Jersey Good Times Magazine Radio Show, the Knowledge for Living-Awakening Your Potential program on MoneyTalk Radio, and the Manhattan Neighborhood Network's television program, Woman of the Week. She has presented for the Mensa Society, the Learning Annex, the Seminar Center, the New Life Expo, the Source of Life Expo, and the Brooklyn Pagans. She is listed with two speakers bureaus, as well as on RadioGuests.com. Melanie is also the author/producer of two lecture/meditation CD's entitled "Discovering Your Life Purpose" and "The Creative Impulse," which are sold on TowerRecords.com and other sites. FICTION AND POETRY

Melanie's erotic fiction appears in the book anthologies, Five Minute Erotica and the upcoming More Five Minute Erotica, as well as The Erotica Reader, which is contained in the kit accompanying her book, 52 Weeks of Passionate Sex. PHOTOGRAPHY

Melanie is a nature and wildlife photographer with several online galleries. One of her photographs of the Amazon River is now a mural at a Texas State Aquarium exhibit in Corpus Christi, and eight of her images were included in her coffee table book, Hummingbirds: Jewels On Air. Other images appear, have appeared, or will appear on the National Honey Board website, a book by the Michael Wilcox School of Colour, marketing materials for Haggett Longobardi, and the walls of Sting's Rainforest Foundation NY.
